Christian Nation, you say is a paper I prepared for delivery to Humanist groups that explores the theist proposition that America was founded to be a “Christian nation.” I explore three questions:
Does our Constitution establish a Christian nation?
Did our founders intend to form a Christian nation and just blew it?
Are our laws, our statutes that regulate how we deal with one another somehow base upon Christian principals, or are they derived from a totally unrelated source?
The paper is sourced and footnoted, and, unlike Wallbuilders, nothing is taken out of context. Enjoy!
